Alex Trochut is one of the bangers in design and illusatration. He has worked for everyone from Rolling Stone, to The Economist, and it’s always a testament to detail. I recently found an illustration of his in Beautiful/Decay Magazine, which led me to his website.
I highly suggest that you check out the “Works” section of his site, where you can unveil his art, one piece at a time.
Intricacy and the feeling that the art is jumping out at you is what draws me to Alex’s creations. Don’t forget to look at his client list too, dude is doin’ his thing.
