Chuck Bowden

Chuck’s art breathes worldview into your head like a bong rip.  And rightly so. You had that jolt coming… we all do. The commentary, color, and sheer skill involved in this work makes us want to go hungry so we can afford an original.  This is the type of art that changes lives – let it in… we’re so glad we did. Boundaries are no match for this artist, which is exactly why we like it.

We were introduced to Chuck’s work through a friend of IPMM, Humboldt County-based surrealist, Jeff Jordan.  When Jeff recommends something, we check it out… assuming multiple months’ worth of emails haven’t clouded our vision, ehemm (our bad Jeff). In any event, Chuck’s new website is being built as we speak, so we’ll make sure to let you know when that’s live. We’re also tracking him down for an interview….. should be fun, assuming we can corner him.
