A dynamic duo indeed. We found Daniel Johnson & Alvin Hargrove’s work at a local coffee shop, and then met the artists at the Glenwood Arts Fest this summer, in Chicago. They each have their unique styles, yet are bound by an inherent richness, history, and certainly, a shared perspective. We definitely hope to add some of their work to our collection, but in the meantime, extend our sincerest kudos. The work is tender, reflective, deep, and intense. History is more complicated than we care to remember often times, and we need art like this to shine the light on perspective that should give us some.
