Fatma Eren Dogan

This Turkish-born artist creates the type of abstract art that feels emblematic of real-world intersections between humans (gross levels of perception) and worlds that tend to lay just outside our realm of awareness (subtle levels of perception).  Fatma Eren Dogan is currently studying at Dokuz Eylul University (Turkey) and says her work is akin to “improvised action painting.”  There’s definitely a sense of chaotic motion to it, again, as if cells under a microscope are being investigated further by an attuned and acute eye. And it’s not as if she’s shy with color… this work is alive.
