Pt. 1 – Photos

FERG is a mainstay of the scene, and after first breaking in as a poster artist, he eventually made the jump to vinyl toys.  His ever-popular Squadt Series arose from that redirection, and we’re sure glad it did. Luckily for us, FERG was in Chicago in January for an exhibition at Rotofugi, and he brought along his buddy and friend of IPMM, Jared Connor of Mexican Chocolate Design.

Rotofugi’s new location on Lincoln and Diversey includes a massive gallery space that is probably bigger than their entire store was on Chicago Ave.  Kirby Kerr and the folks at Rotofugi deserve that awesome new space and we were glad to visit… IPaintMyMind stopped through to catalog the evening, and had the opportunity to speak with our man FERG – that interview will come in Pt. 2 … but for now, enjoy the shots we got of the opening.
