Guillem Font (Barcelona, Spain)

Guillem Font‘s illustration work is what really caught our eye.  Although he paints, and does so with skill, it’s his attention to detail, regardless of technique or specific contour, that sets his work apart form the pack.  Some of his pieces feel like he’s Spanish MC Escher!  It’s that type of kaleidescopic maze, just viewed from a different cultural lens.  Font’s work evoking the romanticism of his city on the Catalan coast.  He’s studying Fine Art at the University of Barcelona, and if his work to date is any indication of his arch, he’ll be in outer space soon enough. Whether spitting light or spider web eyeballs, it’s all trippy in Guillem Font’s world.
