The Temptation of St. Anthony
Kris Kuksi is a prolific guy. Sculptor, painter, and digital artist are amongst his talents and endeavors – and he kills it in every medium. Commentaries on religion, politics, and a general sense of morbidity writhe throughout his work. It makes me uncomfortable in a good way. I like artists who say what they want in the scope of conscise imagery, especially when the commentary is as blatent as this stuff. This is brazen work, but it’s textured and intricate enough that you could look at it for days.
