Martin Benson

I love to get emails from artists who have seen IPMM and ask me to check out their work.  It’s often quite good, and Martin Benson‘s work is no exception. I like covering artists who still paint, despite the cleanliness of a modern world where art has become increasingly design-oriented.  Martin tends to create via acrylics, pastels, india ink, graphite, and tempera, and constructs pieces with depth and texture. Some of his stuff is abstract, some pieces are simple scenes, but in all cases, I have evidenced an artist who’s composition and ability deserve further attention.

Martin is currently a student at USC, and has his own blogspot site, called “Beautiful Things I Feel Are Important.”
