Mike Stilkey
Mike Stilkey’s work caught our eye while exploring the SF gallery scene online. We were immediately attracted to his book-sculpture-installations, which struck us as unique and intriguing. The layered books impart a 3D effect that makes the images pop off the surface. His installations also look incredible, wielding size & proportion that give any project added umph. The creatures and people he paints are stylistically his, and feel part of an entire universe that exists in Mike’s head. We’ve never seen people paint on stacked books… have you? Great stuff indeed.

This is AWESOME as hell!!!! Great, wonderful, amazing job!! Very intriguing…
