Lost Constellations: The Art of Tara McPherson Volume II

Tara McPherson creates soothing surreal nightscapes that make me feel mischevious. Great anatomical symbolism, a surrealist bent, and an overall unique perspective. She appeared at Rotofugi yesterday for the opening of her exhibit there, and signed art and books for those willing to wait.

She’s also just released a series of toys (available at Rotofugi - http://rotofugi.com/toyscart/pc/home.asp ) and is touring in support of both the toys and her new book.

Check out Tara’s happenings at her blog: http://www.taramcpherson.com/blog/
Although I wasn’t able to wait my turn, I was able to scoop her newest book, Lost Constellations, and a beautiful line art serigraph, which is pictued below, Idealized.
