UPDATE: Zach Johnsen of Zenvironments.com – Junk Baby Set

Of all the modern artists we admire, Zach Johnsen is right at the top.  His angle is fucking awesome. Not to be crude, but we don’t really give a s***. His intersection point is exactly what we look for – it’s defiant, unwavering, layered, intentional, and unique. Pop surrealism can take many shapes, which is why more questions arrive on-deck when the term is employed.  With Zach, I’d use the term loosely, since his work goes far beyond the fact that it’s new and exists outside reality. He takes elements we can discern, usually political or social themes, and wraps them in line and color. Zach’s newest prints, the “Junk Baby” Set are now available on his website…you’d be smart to go there and grab them. Take a look at the larger shots of the prints just below…the detail is fantastic.
