Amrita @ The House of Blues – Photos: Pt. 1

On Saturday, January 29th, IPMM took photos at the Amrita show at The House of Blues. Amrita  plays with the familiarity of something you’ve never heard before. It’s rock music, through and through, while incorporating odd time signatures, latin grooves, funky keys… and the list goes on. The band has been making a name for themselves for a few years now, and played a great set at HOB. An opening slot playing for The Memorials at Martyr’s on Feb. 17th is proof of a band who’s work ethic matches their talent, and who’s sound is a testament to musical evolution. Multiple genres of influence, technical ability, and a solid vision are all aspects of Amrita’s ascent.

Here’s our first batch of photos, shot by Brent Murray (IPMM / BPM Photography). A 2nd batch is soon to follow, as well as an interview with the band.
