Bjork: Crystalline – Video by Michel Gondry

She’s done it… again. Sometimes things rise to the surface and overcome all plans you might have had, and today is one of those days.  No disrespect to the content we had queued up, but this is pretty important in our world.  The first video for Bjork’s upcoming album, “Biophilia” was released this morning, and as usual, she has teamed up  Michel Gondry to make a video not of this earth.  Earlier this year, news broke about Bjork’s ambitious new project, which saw her record part of the album using an Ipad.  We’re about to go to her site and pre-order anything that’s available, and until then, we’ll probably watch this video 100 times. Bjork is a genius. Living perhaps 5 years ahead of us all, and we’re cool with that… happy to have a futuristic envoy.

The following track entitled “Crystalline” emerges with spaciousness, later giving way to some “wub wub baaaaaah” that hits superrrrr hard.  If you’re letting her swan suit keep you on the outskirts of her genius, you’re truly missing out.  Be sure of one thing… you’ll hear more about “Biophilia” on IPMM as the goodness unveils itself.
