Free The Robots – Ctrl Alt Delete

Free The Robots aka Chris Alfaro is a producer on Alpha Pup Records – if you like the fabulous glitch stuff coming out of Los Angeles, you’re probably hip to this dude, as well as other ambassadors of the movement, like two other IPMM favorites, Flying Lotus and Prefuse 73.

Ctrl Alt Delete is his debut record and features another friend of IPMM, Ikey Owens of Free Moral Agents and The Mars Volta.  This album is amazing.  Layered beats that melt you in place, with a dynamic mix of rare samples and live instrumentation.  The result is a keeper. We can’t wait to hear what comes next from Free The Robots…but we’re sure to enjoy this release for a long while to come.
