We bookmarked Heather Landis’ work the second we came across it. She’s a photographer & photo illustrator and we love her series entitled “Abyss of the Disheartened.” In this set, her lovely couple live underwater, in a variety of both calm and alarming poses. The light and movement in these shots are fantastic, and whether an embrace or a hand extended longingly, these shots have a potency to them – as if you’re witnessing things from a previously unavailable angle. (And, indeed you are.) We applaud Heather’s work, as her portfolio’s include additional projects that differ from this quite a bit, evidencing her range and skill.
