IPaintMyMind @ Tribeca Film Festival

The 2011 Tribeca Film Festival is kicking off April 20th and running through May 1st in New York City. IPMM contributor Matthew Schuchman will be on screening films for review prior to the festival as well as during, and will be making additional content available via his site, Movie Reviews from Gene Shalit’s Moustache. IPaintMyMind will feature recommendations for a few films we particularly enjoyed from the festival, including the Norwegian festival hit, “The Troll Hunter,” and “Beyond The Black Rainbow,” for which we’ve included the trailer. We’re also really looking forward to Michael Rappaport’s documentary about the legendary midnight marauders, A Tribe Called Quest. His documentary named after their their classic record “Beats, Rhymes, and Life,” is sure to be right up our alley… all of that, and more, coming soon, on IPMM.
