Romain Philippon

 Romain Philippon’s project entitled “Sleepers” is one to make your head turn.  Incredibly rich colors, textures, and people, are spotlit in his catalog of sleeping beauties.  He appears to have traveled all over the world, from American music festivals, to barren roads in India and a range of places in between.  There’s a serenity about the photos, and after sampling Philippon’s other work, it’s clear that he’s able to achieve an intimacy that makes photos come to life in an intense way.
