Soundgarden + The Mars Volta – Chicago, IL @ UIC Pavilion – 7.16.11
IPMM was lucky to be in the photo row for Soundgarden and The Mars Volta’s show at UIC Pavilion in Chicago, IL on July 16th. Since we missed the show Soundgarden played at The Vic Theatre in Chicago ahead of their Lollapalooza slot, we couldn’t fall behind this summer. We’re also happy to debut the photographic contributions of Eric James Walsh to IPaintMyMind.org – we couldn’t be more happy to include him, as you’re about to see, he’s a great photographer. As with the rest of our Concert Photography, we’re not gonna cloud it with superfluous commentary; if we put it on the site, we dig it! Enjoy the images, and see both these bands if you haven’t.

such good photos of the mars volta!! who in the hell can resist cedric and omar, playing there donkey choking walrus music, hahaha such beautiful sounds they seem to orchestrate :] #themarsvolta2011
