I recently got wrapped up in Candy Collective’s photography issue. Fun interviews and intriguing content – what more could you want? They publish their mag in pdf form and promote events to connect the “inventors” they interact with. They have branched out beyond Irish shores, and seem to be inspiring people.
Based on their mission, I feel a kinship, as IPMM strives to offer a similar space – a place where creativity is celebrated and shared. Below ‘in their words’ are a few samples of shots from the photography issue…check it out.
In their words:
Since starting in June 2005, the Candy Collective has grown quite substantially from just one person to a core group of people all over the world who are intent on creating noise in their local area.
CANDY magazine was launched to showcase Irish creativity alongside international equivalents to a worldwide audience. Since then many downloadable pdf format issues have been released to local and international acclaim and our focus has changed somewhat to showcasing and promoting great creatives and their work wherever they may be.
It’s simple – we like to learn, to discover and to collaborate. We enjoy finding out about what’s going on in the creative world and to share that knowledge with likeminded inventors.”
