Vusi Mahlasela is a musician and activist from South Africa, and he too communicates his soul. I found him on Ted.com, a great place for talks and performances about most anything. I love seeing and experiencing the cultures that our imported American culture has spun off from. Vusi reflects a world that has undergone many cultural permutations, and I thank him for his music. Plus, African Blues is some of the best music you’ll find – not created by a corporate music label, but arising from an authentic place and time in our world.
