The Best Of: Photos from NYC’s 4Knots Festival at the Brooklyn Bridge
Words and Photos by Matthew Schuchman
In the shadows of Wall St., laying next to New York City’s iconic Brooklyn Bridge, the 4th annual 4Knots Festival spent its Saturday, the 14th of July playing host to a myriad of rock/punk groups, just as the news of Tommy Ramones passing was filtering out to the corners of the world. Boasting two stages in a crowded tourist destination, this years festivities were capped off by rock legends Dinosaur Jr., whose unmistakable tones turned the packed audience of pier 16 in a wild storm of bodies and sweat.
IPaintMyMind was around to catch much of the action throughout the day including sets from bands such as; Speedy Ortiz, Viet Cong, Those Darlins, and Mac DeMarco. Please enjoy the photographs we have for you below, and make sure to check out our Flickr page for a full set of photos from 4Knots Festival.
