Shared Walls™ at Barnard Elementary in West Beverly
In our first installation of 2016, we’re happy to be working with Barnard Elementary (CPS) on Chicago’s far south side. The faculty at Barnard has been incredibly helpful and we’re really happy with how the exhibition winds up their stairs near the main entrance.
For this exhibition, we hung art prints by our dear friend and local screenprint artist & illustrator, Dan Grzeca. We’ve worked with Dan a lot, have a lot of his work in the IPMM Collection, and you can buy his prints in his online shop, called Ground Up Press, if you like them as much as we do.
Visit the Shared Walls™ page for more info about how your business, school, library, or park is interested in hosting a temporary art exhibition! We’re thrilled to see how putting loaned art in Chicago’s communities changes the vibe, acknowledges the effort our leaders put in, as well as the fact that our children deserve a place to be inspired.
If you’d like to contribute to our efforts, please consider a tax deductible donation – thanks!
