ACCESS TO ART ISN'T EQUITABLE
As a teacher you have three main challenges all the time: lack of time, resources, and support. That must be so hard. You’ve worked in schools or community organizations for years and always have less to work with, moving you to look for unique ways to bring resources to your community.
As an art teacher, you wish you could tap into the creativity and community our city offers in an efficient and quick way, and connecting with other educators isn’t built into the schedule.

Path #1 – Shared Walls (All Inclusive): The all-inclusive option. Our comprehensive visual art Program that includes 3 main components and engagement all school year long. We support your art teachers and art program while bringing your school into a state of creative excitement.
We’ve curated and methodically acquired a growing art collection, representing 50+ artists in various mediums – illustration, photography, collage, and more.
Join our community by hosting a rotating art exhibition in your public school, turning your space into a bold, energetic gallery for everyone who enjoys the space! We also deliver our 10+ page Art Guide as a tool for any leader in your school community to engage folks around the art through activities, curriculum, and free art resources.

We schedule and activate your art program and experience! Whether installing art in your hallways, video workshops, the curriculum, or the rich dialogue that comes from being part of the Shared Walls Program, we love becoming friends with our school partners over years!
4. ENGAGE, DIALOGUE, SHARE!
After we install your art or bring our Mural On Wheels by for a curbside screen print workshop, we’ll stay in touch, keep you topped up with cool info, and ensure that we can build on our work together. The more you share with us, the better!
5. GIVING BACK AND MORE ART!
Every single year we iterate on our offerings and work with school partners to fundraise creatively to ensure we can bring our art program to kids and communities in your neck of the woods for years to come.
Shared Walls™ is a comprehensive 3-part visual art program. It’s the only program of its kind in which every school we work with receives an art gallery in their school featuring professional local art, a robust bilingual art curriculum, and ongoing artist content and video workshops!
The program is completely FREE to community spaces in Chicago in Year 1 and then available through grant or other funding in Years 2+. Whether PTO’s, fundraising campaigns, or other available budgets, we are excited to work with you year after year, delivering delight and new possibilities through art.
By inspiring children citywide by making art accessible to them, we hope to help facilitate moments of creative inspiration that move the world forward.
Of course, you can also Choose Your Own Adventure with our workshops, murals, or curbside art workshops too!
