By the time CERA was done, 4 surfaces had been included in one cohesive mural depicting an urban garden, truly elevating this 17th floor space for hosting, events, and community gatherings at BMO Harris’ brand new tower in downtown Chicago, IL.
In the summer of 2022, we helped curate, manage, and execute one mural by CERA, that extended across two walls and two 4-sided columns, giving this finished product a truly unique a custom feel.

We worked with the BMO’s in-house art team, namely Patrice Connelly, on curating artist options for 4 major impact areas on the 17th floor of BMO’s brnd new tower in downtown Chicago. We ended up selecting CERA as the artist to lend his graphic yet fine art leaning style to this engaging floor plan which includes an outdoor terrace.
We worked with CERA and the team at BMO to hone in on a concept, design, and rendering that spoke to this theme of an urban garden, while not getting overly specific, and reflecting BMO’s involvement in the local community, which has included supporting projects that develop urban gardens. Through a multi-month process that included design feedback, approvals, and the execution of the mural itself, we were proud to deliver something so bespoke, real, and artful for our friends at BMO.
