FOR LINKEDIN - DETROIT
What if a local artist could help transform your companies’ space while giving back to your community?
With IPaintMyMind it’s 100% possible – we’re proud to have done exactly that in partnership with LinkedIn for their new Detroit buildout on Woodward Ave. And we’re the only organization with a ‘Get Art, Give Back’ model!

Working with Cherish Rosas & Greg Morrison of LinkedIn, and Alex Burkholder of Gensler to curate and execute Pat Perry’s ‘Beekeeper” mural for the new Detroit building was an incredible experience. Even in a construction zone ramping up toward the grand opening, the collaboration hit the mark on every level.
From the content Pat came up with featuring Detroit’s local urban beekeepers, to the 30 ft wall which extended over a door and around a corner, to the video of the final product and the community give-back of 20-piece permanent art gallery exhibition at the Detroit Public Schools Adult Education Center in East Detroit, these are the types of client projects that fuel our innovative model.
We’re honored to call LinkedIn a client & friends. They’re a company that cares, takes a local approach to it’s office buildout efforts, and seeks to be a meaningful collaborator in the cities they’re a part of.
By working with IPaintMyMind (IPMM), LinkedIn was able to achieve multiple business goals at once: building out an engaging place for their teams to work & giving back to an underserved community in Detroit. In this way, LinkedIn was able to communicate a vision that IPaintMyMind and Pat Perry brought to life. Ensuring that our client work is contextual, local, and collaborative is key, and LinkedIn’s goals aligned with ours perfectly.
At IPaintMyMind, we believe two perspectives are better than one. To know that LinkedIn was intent on ensuring that Detroit gained from their presence immediately was perfect for IPMM. Our ability to turn their project into another artistic opportunity in Detroit’s Public School system meant this project was the means to fill the need.
Beyond hiring us for your companies’ art service needs, we also provide clients, supporters, & donors with a direct, charitable way to support our mission. In this case, the mural at LinkedIn helps provide a 20-piece art exhibition for the Adult Education Center. Their recently repainted walls became home to incredible prints by Signal Return Press, featuring local organizations, projects, companies, and more.
The reality is that art education is getting slashed left and right. It’s the first thing to hit the chopping block when schools budgets are threatened, and the result could mean a future without the creative solutions we need. Our model mobilizes valuable art services so the give-back is bolstered by a robust core service.
We’d love your help to bring life-changing art experiences to kids everywhere.LEARN MORE
At IPMM, we believe that art is not only an incredible vehicle for inspiration and connection, but for commerce. By purchasing art from artists, engaging businesses with a unique value proposition, and using that leverage to benefit local schools, we create a mutually beneficial self-perpetuating cycle of impact.
Since we do very little fundraising, our work of bringing art to every community, whether downtown or on the west side, takes precedence over everything.
This keeps us focused on building great relationships with artists, providing superior service to our clients, and reminding the schools, principals, teachers, and children we work with, that this model is there to ensure that they benefit.
By connecting artists, businesses, and underserved neighborhoods in the process, we’re focused on the way art can inspire and bring new worlds & possibilities to life.
