We went to Kipling Elementary in Washington Heights near 94th & Lowe, and Higgins Community Academy in West Pullman at 117th & Morgan and had a blast installing temporary art exhibitions for each school!

What's amazing about Marc Foster's works is that they have the vibe of collages, bringing together photographs and blasts of color, but then add another dimension by using found materials and computer motherboards to add texture, definition, and ruggedness to each piece.

As we build toward our goal of putting art in every Ward in Chicago by the end of 2016, we decided to get ambitious and try installing two Shared Walls™ loaned art exhibitions in the same day. We're happy to report that it went extremely well!

This time, we got to work with Shields Elementary at 43rd and Rockwell in the 15th Ward. We loved the opportunity to hang some playful art (a little lower than normal) so that little ones can properly enjoy them.
