Our children spend more time at school than they do at home. That’s why they deserve to have fully-funded programs, including the arts. Despite that, many urban public schools have no art teacher or budget for art supplies, much less a bunch of time to find new resources they can afford. That’s why IPaintMyMind provides any urban public school with ONE FREE YEAR of comprehensive arts programming that includes an art gallery, an Art Guide + Curriculum, and an Artist Workshop, plus tons of other bonuses.
We work with private and suburban schools and school districts to provide the same comprehensive arts programming, at a fee. Each private or suburban school we work with not only adds a great creative aspect to their offerings, but also helps IPMM provide the program to an underfunded school in an urban center. Our Get Art, Give Back model works here too, providing schools with means with an incredible art + service opportunity.
Over the years we’ve brought libraries to life with their very own art galleries, supporting these community hubs with the energy and vibrance they deserve. Libraries are the lifeblood of so many neighborhoods and we take pride in providing them with art and arts programming they can implement for their patrons.
Youth centers are vital support systems for our communities, doing everything from education to advocacy, to addressing issues like food deserts, employment opportunity, and civic participation. By working with local heroes at area youth centers, our art programs finds another touchpoint to bolster local community building efforts.
