delivering value through art services & programs
Our feature on WTTW’s Chicago Tonight program is a perfect glimpse into the types of relationships we build with our partner schools. From turning a school’s hallway into an art gallery, to facilitating engagement through arts activities, and bringing the artists’ themselves into our schools, IPaintMyMind’s Shared Walls Program for schools creates a year-long container that enhances your space and your arts programming in one fell swoop.
But that’s not all, the Shared Walls Program also includes all sorts of bonuses, events, professional development opportunities for teachers, support sessions to facilitate increased engagement, and our industry-leading curriculum.
Our hallmark arts program for schools, parks, libraries, and youth centers, is called Shared Walls, in which we deliver an Art Gallery, an 80-page art curriculum, and a Mural On Wheels Screenprinting Workshop to each partner school. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg, teachers in our Shared Walls Program get our full-service support for their arts classroom all year long including strategy calls with art teachers on our staff!
Since 2019, IPMM has been releasing an annual edition of a complete visual arts curriculum which features our unique pedagogy, satisfies National Core Arts Standards
The IPaintMyMind Visual Arts Education Curriculum is all about giving you the tools to bring the arts into your classroom and truly connect with your students. We know that the arts are often underfunded and left with the scraps of the school budget. Art teachers have to do a lot with a little and we’ve always been committed to helping as much as we can!
The IPMM Visual Art Curriculum is designed to do exactly that.
As we’ve built out our arts programs, we’ve noticed a really cool arc that takes the viewer from passive observer to artist. We’ve found this is accelerated when a student has the opportunity to 1) Make Art and 2) ask questions & learn from an artist who is making a career of their art.
Our workshops and events are designed to give schools and students a direct way to engage with screen printing, an accessible type of printmaking that we mobilize via our Mural On Wheels. a cool way to give back while truly bringing the experience to life for our communities. We also love bringing our educators together for connection, camaraderie, learning, and brainstorming.
Schools also receive constant communication with our Program Managers throughout the school year to help teachers & students get the most out of the programs & resources. Whether adapting an activity for a new subject matter or age group, or sending along great free online arts resources, IPMM aims to help community heroes like teachers, librarians, and youth leaders raise the bar in their space & programs.SCHEDULE A CALL TO DISCUSS OPTIONS FOR YOUR SCHOOL
We know it’s hard to find the time or the money to get the arts programming, supplies, resources, and professional development you truly need and deserve. That’s why we take pride in building relationships with teachers that we can help through our readymade programming and resources, but also to help strategize around new solutions, support, or tools.
From our free resources to our comprehensive art gallery program to our screen printing workshops or professional development experiences, we’re sure we can help inject energy, color, and camaraderie into a process for helping support you and your art classroom so it and your students can be as vibrant and engaged as possible!LEARN MORE ABOUT WORKING WITH IPAINTMYMIND
