Shared Walls™ @ Arts & Business Council of Chicago
We’re happy to announce the hanging of another Shared Walls™ temporary art gallery exhibition, this time hosted by the Arts & Business Council of Chicago! They’re a really unique organization that offers a variety of amazing services to local arts organizations. IPaintMyMind has benefited tremendously from A&BC’s workshops, consultations, and most notably, their BVA program, or Business Volunteers for the Arts. Our team of business consultants are currently helping us do some organizational development that really excites us, and as we came together with A&BC to undertake IPMM’s first BVA project, we couldn’t help but think they’d be the perfect place to host Shared Walls™.
Being a local organization focused on Chicago, it made sense to feature a local artist, and we’re happy to feature our newly acquired collages by Eleanor Boersma in the Arts & Business Council conference room. Eleanor ‘Nora’ Boersma recently showed at IPaintMyMind Gallery as part of the Collage’d show back in June, and after that month-long exhibition, we went ahead and added some of them to our Shared Walls™ collection. Colorful, and vibrant, Katie Kurcz and the A&BC staff loved Nora’s collages. As of today, they hang at the Arts & Business Council Lake St. offices.

Special thanks to the A&BC staff, especially Katie Kurcz for helping secure this awesome collaboration!
