Shared Walls™ Temporary Art Exhibitions Installed at Kipling Elementary & Higgins Community Academy
As part of our push to out temporary art exhibitions in every ward in Chicago by the end of the year, we’ve been super busy over the past few weeks, often times with multiple installs in a single day! We went to Kipling Elementary in Washington Heights near 94th & Lowe, and Higgins Community Academy in West Pullman at 117th & Morgan, and had a blast installing art prints by Mr. City Printing and Justin Santora, respectively.
The staff at both schools were a pleasure to work with and the temporary art exhibitions really added a lot of life to the hallways at both locations. Many thanks to Christine Wyatt and Lawanda Bishop at Kipling and Dean Niedenthal at Higgins for helping make this happen!
If you know of a deserving school, park, library, or community center that would love to host a temporary art exhibition for one year, please have them get on touch via SharedWalls.org. Thanks!
