Hiring: IPaintMyMind Seeking Arts & Social Justice Editorial Contributor
IPaintMyMind is seeking a new Arts & Social Justice Editorial Contributor / Blogger to write articles about art, arts education, and IPMM’s mission and services. In this position, you would write 1-2 articles a month to be published on our blog, a valuable resource for teachers, students, artists, business people, and art lovers. Your articles would align with our editorial voice and values, and display a nimble understanding of content strategy.
IPMM is committed to equity and access in our services and in our content efforts, and we are working hard to create a diverse, valuable, and empowering body of writing on our blog.
Our blog and the articles you will write aren’t just blogging for blogging’s sake – you will be creating and delivering real value to IPMM’s heroes: artists, cool businesses, teachers and students, and art lovers / IPMM supporters through meaty, actionable content.
Responsibilities include…
- Writing 1-2 high-quality articles a month to be published on our blog
- Working with our Editorial team to collaboratively edit your pieces
- Meeting deadlines and maintaining a strong, positive, collaborative work ethic
- Pitching blog article concepts
You are…
- Super organized, communicative, a self-starter and great at meeting deadlines
- A great writer with an understanding of SEO and keyword strategy
- Understand content strategy in 2021: create, disseminate, repackage.
- Excited about IPMM’s mission to connect communities through art
- A lover of the arts, education, equity, humanity & culture
You are already knowledgeable about the arts and/or education, and have a passion for social justice. You also should have experience writing content for a website and be able to provide examples of your published work. Include links in your submission.
