Mixed Media Artwork With A Southern Accent, Chicago’s Dolan Geiman
Credit where credit is due. The good people at Renegade Craft Fair get props for being the conduit to connect us with yet another awesome local artist. Last summer while strolling down Division St. in Chicago as part of the fair, we found Dolan’s work where he was featuring some of his larger mixed media works. We stopped for a while, met the man behind the art, and have been a big fan ever since. He and his wife and business partner, Ali Marie, run an great operation, and we’re happy to say that IPMM has acquired some of Dolan’s work to be featured in a future edition of our Shared Walls program.
Whether his paper prints, mixed media pieces, wood box prints, or other layered and textured offerings, this “art with a southern accent” has a raw feel, while adopting some product models that we like a lot. A wood box, and other designs that allow one nail to hang a beautiful piece of art without the hassle of framing, are great ways to lower the barriers to entry.
Colorful, rugged, accessible, and well-priced, Dolan Geiman is growing a fan base alongside a fantastic aesthetic, and were glad to be in touch. Check out more of his work below followed by a link to his store where you can purchase his art. We think you should.
Thanks again to Renegade Craft Fair!
