Affinity Community Services x IPaintMyMind Fundraiser: Equal Rights & Justice T-Shirt by Sam Kirk
IPaintMyMind Board Member and multidisciplinary artist, Sam Kirk has created an exclusive t-shirt in collaboration with Evan La Ruffa of IPaintMyMind.
The idea was centered around finding a phrase that said it plain and that said it clearly. Then we came up with the idea of Sam’s awesome figurative work existing inside IPaintMyMind’s headline font, Noir Pro Bold and we landed on a keeper.
The result is a detailed yet bold design that represents our shared values. The t-shirt is only available here and 50% of proceeds will benefit Affinity Community Services on Chicago’s South Side and 50% will benefit IPaintMyMind.

Affinity Community Services is a social justice organization serving the needs of the Black LGBTQ+ community with a particular focus on Black women. Their priorities are in supporting education, health, wellness and safety, as well as advocacy, organizing and civic engagement. They envision a society where being your authentic self is not a liability and differences are fully embraced, and they value community, recovery, healthy shared leadership, accountability, knowledge, safe spaces, critical justice and reciprocal relationships.
