IPaintMyMind is a 501(c)3 Tax Exempt Organization!
We saved the cost of a lawyer and did the paperwork ourselves… and it was approved! IPaintMyMind – NFP (IL) is now officially a registered 501(c)3 tax exempt nonprofit organization. Any cash donations made to IPMM can be deducted on your taxes! More information on tax incentives soon…
For now, we’ll be writing grants and working on some other adventurous ideas. A million thank you’s to all the artists & musicians we’ve featured, the purveyors of art that have attended our events, and the community with whom we are honored to collaborate. IPaintMyMind’s effort to redefine arts media is sincere, passionate, and growing steadily. Again, thanks for coming along, becoming tax exempt is a huge step in the maturation of this project. Here’s the nitty gritty:
Mission
IPaintMyMind’s mission is to serve as a public arts media group and art advocacy organization. IPMM facilitates interaction with both historical and emerging art & music. We’re working towards true art sustainability by providing the virtual and physical spaces to share the art we love, while further enhancing the broader cultural landscape.
IPMM = Public Arts Media and Education.
Our focus is to encourage creativity, positivity, and community through public arts education, outreach, and media. By basing our business on a charitable public education model, we’ve removed profit-driven incentives and replaced the advertising model with a network of collaboration. Nonprofit
Media Outlet (method)
IPMM is a source for real perspective, not the pre-packaged entertainment we’re commonly sold. You can be sure that the reason we feature something in the webmag is because we think it’s fantastic. No sales diagnostics, no surcharges or hidden costs – IPMM’s role is to expose people to inspiring art, music, and culture, not sell your eyeballs to the highest bidder.
Art Sustainability (impact)
Making it as an artist isn’t easy, which is why IPMM believes in serving as a conduit for artists to make their art viable. We want to encourage and help grow a climate in which artists and artwork are valued and supported. The more we know about the creative things going on around us, the more participatory we become, and artists can be creative, instead of wasting away in a cubicle.
Coalescing Creatives (community)
We hope to bring positive-minded people together through an aesthetic that celebrates the entire spectrum of expression, and represents the realities of various experiences. You’re gonna see a wide range of content on IPMM, and we believe that diversity is the backbone of this project. IPMM strives to represent the openness that we feel connects all lifelong learners.
Artist-Direct Sales (accountability)
By facilitating artist-direct sales, we hope to help the artists’ we love, by connecting them with you, the public! If you enjoy the art or music you find on IPMM, go their website and buy something cool already! OK?!
