As we conduct our Annual Review, coalesce feedback and finalize numbers, it’s been truly remarkable to take a look at IPaintMyMind’s impact in 2019.
There are some great metrics for our mission that we’re happy to boast about, but as we reflect a little more on the artists, the clients, the schools, the kids, the teachers, and all of you, who contributed to raise IPaintMyMind’s impact to a new level, it’s hard not to focus on a few stories of connection & creativity that are emblematic of a great year and job well done.
The story that comes to mind immediately is of Sam Kirk’s Artist Workshop at Bateman Elementary School in May 2019. The kids had studied her work, reviewed her prints in their in-school gallery, and were so excited to meet her. Together, they made a mini-mural, chatted about her work and techniques, and asked all kinds of awesome questions.
