Shared Walls Loaned Art Program Partners with Chicago Youth Centers – Rebecca K. Crown Youth Center
We’ve typically worked with public schools, community centers, libraries, and parks, but we’re really excited to have expanded to include some of the amazing youth centers in the city. When we connected with Christy at Chicago Youth Centers – Rebecca K. Crown Youth Center in the South Shore neighborhood, we had that same awesome feeling we get every time we enter a vibrant community space with engaged leaders that are making our communities better places to live.
Our buddy Jay Ryan, whose work is featured prominently in our collection, is the artist we’ve chosen to feature, with over 20 pieces adorning the hallways and youth room on the centers second floor off 79th St. We look forward to working with their Bronzeville location in the near future as well!
