A 1970 Hitchhiking Trip Across The Sahara Desert
You’ve never hitchhiked across the Sahara Desert, have you?
When I first heard this happened, I was blown away. Amazing that two guys from Kansas decided they would get in a plane, fly to the East Coast of Canada, then over to France, and down into Ghana before heading across one of the Sahara Desert.
The journey is the subject of an upcoming documentary, and we fell in love with many of the images this voyage produced. Below you’ll get to sample a few, and be sure to join us next Friday night, Nov 6th, for an opening reception of Steve’s show at IPaintMyMind Gallery @ Green Exchange, entitled, Far From Home.
Black and white photos from an epic journey.
