One of the best parts about putting loaned art in local schools is getting to know them and learn more about their educational focus and how the art in our collection can dovetail with that. In speaking with the Peirce Elementary (CPS), it became clear that the curriculum is very much about creating little, engaged citizens of the world. Not only do we love the approach, we were able to find some great geographic prints by our friend Tony Frankenberg of Mr. City Printing.
To see the bare hallways turn into a place to celebrate the curriculum, while adding energy to the space, and giving the kids something else to engage with, was awesome. We also shot some video for an upcoming project that we can’t wait to debut!
