Some of our schools don’t have art teachers, and many don’t even have budgets to purchase basic art supplies.
IPMM provides our comprehensive art program, Shared Walls, completely FREE of charge, to any Chicago Public School in our first year working together.
Each school receives:
- a 12 to 20 piece art gallery for the entire school year
- a 10+ page Art Guide with art curriculum
- emails and follow ups all year long to ensure engagement
- an artist workshop or curator talk
- the opportunity to have students show their work in a real art gallery!
Our Shared Walls program is uniquely formatted to connect kids back to art and engage them in a creative practice. We are thrilled that we are able to offer the first year of this high-quality art program FREE to all CPS schools, and your purchase of a shirt will help ensure that we can continue to do this going forwards.
