Light Seeker: A Limited Edition Print Series
“To move through life, in search of light, seemingly unaffected by curveballs we meet along the way, this is the Light Seeker. How critical to choose warmth, and to bask. We work, we plan, we organize, but how critical it is to zoom out and reflect on the beauty around us that encapsulates us. For me, I see it on walks, I see it around bodies of water, and I see it in long days spent outside. A light only the earth can provide, and I can stoke. In the heat and complexity of day to day life, these moments are of the most importance. Where have you been finding yours?” – CERA
Learn More About CERA
CERA is a mural artist currently based out of the Chicagoland area. In 2012, he received a BFA from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design with an emphasis in printmaking and graphic design. After years of wheat-pasting both nationally and internationally, CERA extended his practice into large-scale painted murals. His work is an integration of digital drawings, printmaking techniques, and painting; his projects spread across genres including street art, private commissions, public projects, and collaborations.
This fluidity enables him to move his work through the public sphere and creates an accessible visibility to a variety of audiences. Many of his paintings depict images of the figure, abstracted through both embellishment and concealment. Bold color and graphic patterns entice the viewer into a sense of excitement and wonder. Throughout his career CERA has exhibited his work in Milwaukee, Chicago, Baltimore, New York, Philadelphia and Seoul, South Korea.
IPaintMyMind x CERA
CERA is a newer member of the IPMM family, but we’re thrilled to deepen our relationship and work together on this limited edition print run. This past summer, we worked with CERA on an exciting mural project at BMO Harris. Spanning several different walls and areas of the BMO office, CERA’s dreamy, colorful style unified the space, suffusing it with creative energy. Pastels, organic life, and scenes of daily life in Chicago dance across the walls.
CERA’s scenes of joy, discovery, and growth are exciting and visually impactful–whether on a wall, in the street, or hanging in your home. Support local artists and revitalize your walls with this exclusive print.
